TÜV Rheinland Presents the First EN IEC 61643-341:2020 Certification to SCME

       On January 21, 2025, TÜV Rheinland Greater China (hereinafter referred to as "TÜV Rheinland") officially presented the first EN IEC 61643-341:2020 certification to Jiangsu Semicon Champion Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as " SCME  "). This marks a significant milestone, as SCME’s TSS surge absorbers have now reached an internationally leading level in the surge protection field. The certification ceremony was attended by SCME's Technical Center Director Mr. Tian Weihua, Quality and Process Director Ms. Jin Meihua, and TÜV Rheinland Solar and Commercial Products Service Components Business General Manager Mr. Shi Bing, along with other representatives.

      The EN IEC 61643-341:2020 standard is a crucial benchmark in the surge protection field, setting stringent requirements for the performance, reliability, and safety of surge absorbers. The standard covers multiple aspects, from electrical characteristic testing to durability tests, as well as performance evaluations under complex environmental conditions, ensuring that the products can operate stably and efficiently in real-world applications.

       During the certification ceremony, Mr. Tian Weihua, Technical Center Director of SCME, stated, “Receiving the first EN IEC 61643-341:2020 certificate from TÜV Rheinland is a significant achievement in the company's development history. It marks the transition of SCME's products from the traditional electronic protection field to the power protection field, laying a solid foundation for the internationalization of our business and paving the way forward.
